    This is a great choice for solar systems as well as other outdoor applications. It provides you with a 80 ah (amp-hours) of charge capacity and it weighs in at only 23lb!

    Need larger capacity? Easy, just connect additional batteries of the same capacity in parallel until you reach your desired capacity. Connecting batteries in parallel maintains the same voltage but adds the capacity (ah) of the batteries together to form a single large sized cell. For example, connecting four 12V 80ah batteries in parallel yields a 12V battery bank with a total capacity of 320ah.

    Need a higher voltage? Up to four batteries can be connected ion of up to a total of 4 batteries in series to deliver a 48V charge. Connecting batteries in series maintains the the original capacity (ah) of the batteries by sums the voltage to form a single higher voltage cell. For example, connecting four 12V 80ah batteries in series yields a 48V battery bank with a total capacity of 80ah.

    IMPORTANT! Whether you are connecting in parallel or series, it is important to use essentially identical batteries — same voltage, same capacity, same model, and made by the same manufacturer.
