Introducing the NEW Aluminess Rear Door driver-side Ladder and Ladder/Tire Rack Combo for the Dodge Promaster!
Whether you have an Aluminess roof rack or just a simple storage box, the Promaster roofs are a great place to store bulky things. The problem is how you get up there to strap everything down? Another common problem that people encounter is that oversize tires won’t fit under the van and require the tire to be relocated. To solve this, Aluminess developed the new rear door mounted ladders and ladder/tire rack combos that allow you to carry your a full-size spare in an easy to access location and giving you access to the spare tire and providing access to the roof at the same time!
This ladder/combo kit includes clamp-on posts to support the tire, a tire mount, and three auxiliary steps to make it easy and comfortable to climb past your tire/box and get to your roof. You can also choose to mount a storage box instead of your spare tire on his rack. You just need to purchase the rack, then add one of the Aluminess storage boxes to the rack. Follow this link to see the available Aluminess storage boxes.
The rear ladders and tire racks both bolt directly to your vehicle's existing hinges using the hardware provided as part of the kit. There is no need to drill any holes through the door. The storage boxes and tire rack work with 180° and 270° hinges s there's no need to fuss with swapping out and painting new hinges just to mount your rack!

Advantage of Aluminum
Aluminum's combination of strength and light weight makes it a great alternative for off-road applications. The lighter weight help reduce wear and tear on your suspension. And aluminum never rusts, so this van ladder will last and last.
Why is powder-coated aluminum the best choice for your van build?
- It's lightweight – The heavier weight of steel puts an additional load on your brakes, alignment, and suspension meaning lost performance. Aluminum, on the other hand, allows you to get full performance out of your suspension and prevents wear and tear on your alignment, brakes, and tires.
- It doesn’t rust – Aluminum doesn't rust and the tough powder-coating is not only tough but will keep looking good for years to come.
Aluminess Products, Inc. has been in business since 2008.
